5 Day - Affordable Kruger Park & Panorama Route Adventure
Day 1 – The Kruger Adventure Begins

You will be picked up from Johannesburg and transfer to your accommodation that’s situated only a short drive away from the iconic Kruger National Park (the drive from Johannesburg takes approximately 4-5 Hrs)

We will be able to pick you up straight from your hotel, anywhere in Johannesburg at no extra charge. Your Transfer will also be private with no other guests sharing the vehicle with you, so you will be able to enjoy a relaxed transfer with a comfort stop along the way, to buy some refreshments and to stretch your legs.

Arrive in the afternoon, settle in and relax until it’s time to go on your first open Safari Vehicle Kruger Game Drive around 16:00, where you will have an opportunity to see the Big 5 and some other magnificent African wildlife. The Game Drive extends into the night (the drive duration is approximately 3 hours).

Return to your Lodge/Hotel afterwards and enjoy a tasty dinner at the Lodge’s Restaurant.

(Pick-ups can also be done from Pretoria or Nelspruit)

Day 2 – Full Day Open Vehicle Game Drive

This exciting day starts with an early departure on a full day Kruger National Park Open Vehicle Safari. Because of the early start to the day, you will receive a tasty and nutritious breakfast pack the previous evening after dinner which you can enjoy at a scenic sight inside the park.

You will have the whole day to explore one of the largest wildlife conservation areas in Africa (Kruger National Park) and try to spot Africa’s dangerous Big 5 and other rare and interesting species, fully guided by a highly experienced and qualified Nature Guide.

Around Mid-day your guide will stop at one of Kruger Park’s Rest Camps, where you will be able to enjoy lunch. Continue afterwards with your Kruger Park Adventure in the afternoon to try and spot what you might have missed during the morning. Return to your accommodation late afternoon, where you can relax until dinnertime. 

Day 3 – Full Day Panorama Route & Gorge Glass Lift

Enjoy Breakfast at 07h30 before departing on a full day Panorama Route tour.

Explore the Blyde River Canyon (One of the largest in the world) and enjoy stunning scenic viewpoints such as the Pinnacle Rock Look-out point, Bourke’s Luck Potholes and Three Rondavels, with the best view over the Canyon from above. Visit the Graskop Gorge Glass Lift with a breath-taking view of the Gorge, stretching to the vast expanses of the Lowveld, also enjoy a beautiful indigenous forest walk at the bottom of the Gorge.

Return to your accommodation late afternoon, where you can relax until dinner can be enjoyed at the Lodge’s Restaurant.


Day 4 – Full Day Kruger Game drive

Today you will have another opportunity to explore the iconic Kruger National Park, during another exciting Full Day Open Vehicle Safari.

You will have the whole day to explore and search for Africa’s famous Big 5 in a different area of the park.

Around Mid-day your guide will stop at one of Kruger Park’s Rest Camps, where you will be able to enjoy lunch. Continue afterwards with your Kruger Park Adventure in the afternoon to try and spot what you might have missed during the morning. Return to your accommodation late afternoon, where you can relax until dinnertime. 

Day 5 – Transfer back to Johannesburg

You will be able to enjoy a relaxed morning, waking up to a beautiful African Sunrise. Enjoy a delicious breakfast at the Lodge's Restaurant before departing, making your way back to Johannesburg.

Your Transfer will be private again, so you will be able to enjoy a relaxed and scenic drive back with a comfort stop along the way, to stretch your legs or to buy some refreshments. Arrive in Johannesburg in the afternoon.

Alternatively, you can choose to do a last activity, such as a morning Kruger Game drive (closed or open vehicle) or go on an Elephant tour, before making your way back to Johannesburg.

We can also include a Blyde Canyon Boat cruise or a visit to the Moholoholo Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre.

General Information
  • Red Africa Safaris might make use of partnered companies to lead/conduct Safari tours and only make use of highly professional, registered and passionate companies with whom Red Africa Safaris has an established relationship.
  • If the Reservation is made within 30 days of departure, we request the full amount to be paid at the time of confirmation. If the Reservation is made more than 30 days prior to departure, then a 50% deposit of the full amount is required at the time of booking and the balance is due 30 days prior to the start of the Safari Tour.
  • There might be other guests joining you on some of the activities such as the Kruger Game drives. Private Full day and Morning Game drives can be booked.
