7 Day Kruger to Cape Safari tour
Day 1 – Transfer + Sunset Game drive

You will be picked up from Johannesburg and transfer to your accommodation that’s situated, only a short drive away from the iconic Kruger National Park (drive takes approximately 4-5 Hrs)

There will be a stop along the way to buy some refreshments and to stretch your legs.

Arrive in the afternoon, settle in and relax until it’s time to go on your first open vehicle Kruger Game drive around 16:00, which extends into the night (duration is approximately 3 hours). The perfect time to spot Kruger’s Nocturnal wildlife starting to wake up.

Return to your Lodge/Hotel afterwards and enjoy a tasty dinner at the Lodge’s Restaurant

Day 2 – Blyde Canyon Boat Cruise & Panorama Route tour

Depart early morning from and head Northwards to the Blyde River Nature Reserve. Here you will be able to enjoy a very unique and scenic Blyde River boat cruise from inside the Canyon with a chance to see many species of water birds, antelopes, crocodiles and hippos, as well as the second highest Tufa Falls on earth.

Afterwards there will be time to enjoy lunch before making your way to the first stop on the Panorama Route.

Explore the Blyde River Canyon (one of the largest in the world) and enjoy stunning scenic viewpoints such as, the Three Rondavels, with the best view over the Canyon from above, Bourke’s Luck Potholes and the Pinnacle Rock look-out point.

Return to your accommodation late in the afternoon, where you can relax until dinner can be enjoyed at the lodge’s restaurant.

Please note – On day 2, a Full Day Kruger Safari can be included, if you are not interested in doing the Panorama Route and Boat cruise tour.

 Day 3 – Full Day Open Vehicle Game Drive

 Receive a packed breakfast as this exciting day starts with an early departure on a full day Kruger National Park open vehicle safari.

You will have the whole day to explore one of the largest wildlife conservation areas in Africa (Kruger National Park) and try to spot Africa’s dangerous Big Five.

Enjoy lunch at one of Kruger Park’s restaurants (at your own account). Continue your Kruger Park Adventure in the afternoon.

Return to your accommodation late in the afternoon, where you can relax until dinner can be enjoyed at the Lodge's Restaurant.

 Day 4 – Flight from Kruger Park to Cape Town

Receive a packed breakfast and transfer to Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport from where you will be able to take a flight to Cape Town. Arrive in Cape Town early afternoon and relax at your comfortable accommodation or enjoy your afternoon at own leisure with a lot of choices of things to do, such as visiting the V&A Waterfront, enjoy a Harbour cruise, visit the Two Oceans Aquarium or enjoy Cape Town’s many top-class Restaurants and Coffee shops.

Day 5 – Cape Peninsula Tour

 This scenic drive around the Cape Peninsula showcases the beautiful sights and sounds of one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Visit Hout Bay Harbour, where you have a chance to take a cruise to Seal Island. Visit Cape Point/Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve. Experience the natural fauna & flora of the Cape, also visit Boulders Beach where you can view African Penguins.

Return to your hotel in the afternoon and relax until it is time to enjoy dinner.

Day 6 – Table Mountain and Cape Town City Tour

 This is an exciting full day tour which includes the Table Mountain Cableway, Museums and the Cape Town city tour.  This tour will run from 09H00 to around 17H00 in the afternoon.  No lunch is included, but a provision in the day will be made for a lunch stop. The tour route includes driving past the Parliament Complex, Company Gardens and Malay Quarters. Return to your hotel in the afternoon, and relax until it is time to enjoy dinner.

 Day 7 – Transfer to Cape Town Airport + Flight back to Johannesburg

Enjoy a tasty breakfast and relax until it’s time to transfer to Cape Town International airport from where you will be able to take a flight back Johannesburg.

Please note, although we provide planned Itineraries our tours are totally flexible and can be customized to suit your needs. Should there be activities that you are not interested in, we could easily exclude them from the Tour.

General Information
  • Red Africa Safaris might make use of partnered companies to lead/conduct Safari tours and only make use of highly professional, registered and passionate companies with whom Red Africa Safaris has an established relationship.
  • If the Reservation is made within 30 days of departure, we request the full amount to be paid at the time of confirmation. If the Reservation is made more than 30 days prior to departure then a 50% deposit of the full amount is required at the time of booking and the balance is due 30 days prior to the start of the Safari Tour.
  • There might be other guests joining you on some of the activities such as the Kruger Game drives. Private Full day and Morning Game drives can be booked.
  • Please note all activities are subject to the weather & availability.

  • Red Africa Safaris cannot be held responsible for any Cancellation, Modification or No-show fees that might incur. Therefore, the onus is upon you (the traveller) to take out the necessary Travel Insurance to be covered in the event of unforeseen circumstances that might occur.
